 GregGreg moved into his own home in the community after living at Rainier RHC for over 50 years. His loving family was very nervous and frankly, scared, about him leaving a place he's been for so long. Greg is doing very well and loves his new home. CLICK THE LINK TO SEE GREG STORY |  ChuckChuck moved into his own home in June 2019 after living at Rainier RHC for 57 years. The idea of Chuck moving was very scary to his family. It took several meetings, lots of cross training and months of preparation. Chuck now lives in his own home! He has more direct care staff attention, only two housemates and even lives closer to his family. Chuck is more relaxed and sleeps better.  KathyKathy moved into her own home in December 2018 after living in a skilled nursing facility for several years. Kathy wanted to live more independently but worried about how she would be cared for. Now she has constant assistance and lives the independent life she's wanted. She enjoys attending Life Center Church, going to the park, shopping with friends and gardening in her own yard. Kathy is happy! CLICK LINK TO SEE KATHY'S HOME |  DaltonDalton moved into his own home in June 2018 after living in a nursing facility for two years. Dalton loves his new home. He enjoys getting to know his new housemates and has recently gone on a fishing trip with them. This delighted his family! Dalton enjoys going for coffee and will be bowling with Special Olympics soon. His mother shared that with Dalton's medical needs it has amazed her at how much better he does outside of a medical facility. Dalton is so happy now and thriving! |
 JoshJosh moved into his own home in August 2018 after living at Rainier RHC for over 4 years. He loves the Seahawks! Josh really liked that he was able to paint his room in Seahawk colors and decorate it however he wanted. Josh said he feels more free to live his own life. He is proud of his home and is excited for what the future holds. |  RobiRobi lived in a skilled nursing facility for over two years before moving into a home of his own in the Spring of 2018. Robi says it's like a dream come true for him. He looks forward to accessing his community with others closer to his own age. He hopes to always live in his new home. Robi is very happy and is grateful for those around him who support what he wants for his life. |
 MarkMark lived at Rainier RHC for 52 years and now he has a home of his own. He has more space and has more staff attention which helps support him. Having flexibility to choose the meals he wants and having the option of watching his food be prepared are just two things that have made a big difference for Mark's happiness. He also enjoys walks, car rides, playing ball and grocery shopping. Mark is doing well in his own home. He enjoys having housemates that are fun. He loves his iPad and working at Lowes. Thomas is proud of his job in the community. He truly enjoys community living and activities. Thomas likes having his very own private backyard to relax in. Thomas is very happy. |
 JaniceJanice moved into her own home in January 2017 after living in a nursing facility for nine months. She now lives closer to her family. They visit Janice weekly for lunch, cards and to play games. Janice enjoys going to jazzercise classes, grocery and clothes shopping as well as other personalized community activities. Janice is thriving. |  ShawnShawn lived at Fircrest RHC before moving into his own home in the Fall of 2015. Shawn loves his new place, especially the porch swings he has in both the front and back yards. More direct staff attention has made a big difference for Shawn's happiness as well as the swimming he does six days a week in the community. Shawn now has more control of important things in his life and is thriving in his new home. |
 NolaNola lived at Rainier RHC for over 40 years. In the Spring of 2015, she moved into her own home in the community. She socializes more with her housemates and enjoys listening to music in her own room. Her lawn swing and visits with her mom are just a couple of her favorite activities. Nola likes community outings for swimming, going for ice cream, shopping and trips to the park. Nola is very happy. CLICK LINK TO SEE NOLA'S HOME |  JohnJohn lived at Rainier RHC for 35 years before moving into his own home in the Spring of 2014. His home is located on a quiet green belt which John greatly enjoys. He loves seeing his sister more often, shopping at Walmart, and going out for a soda, hamburger and fries. He enjoys concerts in the park and going to Disneyland! John says he is happy living his long time dream of having a home of his own in the community! |
 BrandiBrandi lived at Fircrest RHC for nine years before moving into the community in 1994. She has remained successful in her own home which she shares with a housemate. She loves being in the kitchen, cooking foods that she enjoys and making meals for her business. Brandi enjoys horseback riding with Little Bit and participating in her walking club and aqua therapy. Brandi is very happy in her own home in the community. |
